NEW Online Classes via Zoom

Wednesdays 7:00pm – 8:00pm EST – Beginner/Intermediate

This class will focus on the basic moves and vocabulary of belly dance. Students will also learn about ethics, etiquette, music, history, and culture of this dance style along with lots of movement. There will be emphasis on body awareness, basic hip movement, muscle isolations, and combinations to help with muscle memory. This class explores various elements of belly dance including some use of props.

Some experience necessary.

Dance attire: Comfortable stretchy clothing to allow for graceful movement. Barefeet are ideal, but slippers are acceptable depending on your surface.

Wednesdays 8:15pm – 9:15pm EST – Intermediate/Advanced 

Exploring various elements of belly dance while in Quarantine

In this class students will learn more performance ready style, technique and posture, layering, fluid arm movement, advanced isolations and serpent-like body movements. This class will also include sassy and experimental choreography with or without props. Each class will begin with a body conditioning warm up. Many classes will include drills to improve muscle control and memory and isolation skills including layering. Be prepared to sweat, but in the comfort of your own home. 

At least 3 years experience required.

Thursdays 7:00pm – 8:00pm EST – Introduction to Belly Dance with basic movement and technique

Looking for a new way to move? This is the class for you!! Learn the great art of belly dance. This class focuses on the basic movements of belly dance including isolation and traveling moves. We will go through drills and combinations to get your body acquainted with this fascinating art form. . Bring your hip scarves and be prepared to MOVE!

This class is for all levels. No experience necessary.

Thursdays 8:00pm – 9:00pm EST – Intermediate/Advanced

Classes must be purchased at the studio.

Looking for a new way to move? This is the class for you!! Learn the great art of belly dance with a fusion twist. This class focuses on the basic movements of belly dance including isolation and traveling moves. We will go through drills and combinations to get your body aquainted with this fascinating art form. This is also a great place to meet a lot of new fun people. Bring your hip scarves and be prepared to MOVE!

This class is for all levels. No experience necessary.

Attire: Comfortable dance pants. No skirts please. The instructor needs to see how you are moving to make sure it is the correct way. Hip scarves are optional. Ballet slippers, socks or bare feet is ok. No street shoes please.

This is a beginner/intermediate class.

Current class fee is $15/class drop ins or $60/class card (6 classes)

This is a intermediate/advance class.

Classes must be purchased at the studio.

This class will focus on the basic moves and vocabulary of belly dance. Students will also learn about ethics, etiquette, music, history, and culture of this dance style. This is also a great way to meet and socialize with others who have similar interests while also getting a good workout.

In this class students will learn basic tribal style technique and posture, layering, fluid arm movement, popping, locking, tick tocking, and serpent-like body movements. This class will also include sassy choreography with or without props. Each class will begin with an intense body conditioning warm up and drills to improve muscle control and memory and isolation skills. Be prepared to sweat at home as well.

Attire: Comfortable dance pants. No skirts please. The instructor needs to see how you are moving to make sure it is the correct way. Hip scarves are optional. Ballet slippers, socks or bare feet is ok. No street shoes please.
